Yes, boys and girls, puppies and kittens, it truly was a dark and stormy night and Max, Sweet Samantha and Bailey were telling each other ghost stories in the spooky glow of rotating Halloween candles (which are battery operated!).

But then Max ate the batteries and all was black, without light, and poor Sweet Samantha, who is terrified of storms, hid under the covers.

Bailey tried coaxing her out, even went out of her way to share a chewy stick, but to no avail.

Then Max, gentleman that he is, albeit a bit clumsy at times, remembered that Samantha had recently got a very fashionable security sweater and so he put it on her and she was so happy she jumped with flair and ate every last bit of popcorn!
