Dear friends and valued guests,
It is with a mix of emotions that Kevin and Vinny announce the closure of our beloved shop after 14 remarkable years. As we reflect on this journey, we are filled with gratitude for the memories, laughter, and shared moments that have enriched our lives.
You have been more than customers; you have been our extended family. From the early days when we opened our doors with hope and anticipation, to the bustling evenings filled with conversations and clinking glasses, you have been an integral part of our story.
Together, we celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones. We weathered storms, both literal and metaphorical, and emerged stronger each time. Your unwavering support, kind words, and warm smiles sustained us through the highs and lows.
As we turn the page and bid farewell to the shop and hello to retirement, we want you to know that your presence has left an indelible mark on our hearts. The laughter echoing in these walls, the shared dishes that you would bring, and the clinking of wine glasses—all of it will linger as cherished memories.
While our physical doors may close, the spirit of our business lives on. We invite you to carry a piece of it with you—a keepsake wine glass, a favorite wine pairing, or simply the joy of shared moments. Let’s raise our glasses one last time, to friendship, resilience, and the beautiful tapestry of life. Our Final Farewell Wine Party and Potluck will be Saturday, July 13th with extended hours of 5-9pm. The shop will stay open to the end of July or the first of August as we reduce our inventory.
The good news is The Gifted Ferret will live on after September with our online shop. With retirement bringing new ventures like our Air B & B launch in Fort Oglethorpe, GA near Chattanooga, plus hosting other events at our new house. Do watch as we are reviewing the possibilities of opening another shop in Fort Oglethorpe area. We will be launching shortly after we close the shop doors a new archive website that you can share pictures and memories of your time at The Gifted Ferret.
