Mirabello Prosecco
Mirabello Prosecco is made by Claudio Manera just northeast of Treviso in Venezie in the northeast of Italy known for this classic Italian fizz from the vineyards that seem to quilt these rolling hills where they grow Glera, the local grape variety used in Prosecco which makes a gently aromatic, crisp and delicate sparkling wine unique to Prosecco.
Hand harvested at optimum ripeness ensures the right balance between aromatics and good acidity. Fermented in stainless steel with its second fermentatio 0 n in pressurized tanks for four weeks, Mirabello captures the primary fruit and invigorating freshness of Prosecco which complements so many foods not least salty appetizers, fried foods, egg dishes, and summer salads but because it makes for such a terrific aperitif unto itself it is a great way to greet guests.
This makes for a wonderful wine to serve with brunch or drink in the garden and at this price we have never tasted a Prosecco to rival this in terms of its quality-price-ratio and this means people always enjoy a second glass…or third which makes for a delightful, aromatic, crisp and delicate sparkling wine.
