Cover Information:

Usable Cover Cash for events per person starts Saturday, January 25th. Cover will be $15 at the door or $10 if you pay cover online up to 12 hours prior to the event. You will receive cover cash for the amount you paid and the cover cash is good only during the event for purchases (excluding additional flight tastings and appetizer plates). Any cover cash not used during the event will be non-refunded and the surrendered amount will go towards the cost of tasting. Partial procedures from surrendered cover cash will go to No Kill Pet Charities.  

New Tasting Products:

Beginning February 1, 2020 we will be selling light appetizer plates during most events. If you require a second taste or would like a specialized tasting selection, we will be able to purchase a wine flight of three additions tastings. Please note that our wine tasting policies will be updated and posted on January 24, 2020.

Tasting Selections:

 

Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio - Italy - $18.33

A deep yellow, straw-like color.

 

Intense aroma with slight hints of nutmeg, peach, and acacia.

 

A dry, fresh wine with strong, fruity overtones and orange peel. It has a rich, persistent flavor.

 

Is best served with seafood dishes.

 

Abadal Blanc - Spain - $19.64

The woodland's aromatic undergrowth (Jasmine, lavender) is expressed in this fresh, persistent and seductive wine. Pale colour with green glints, it has exotic and complex nose with floral, citric and tropical fruit notes.

Abadal Blanc is a young white wine made Picapoll varieties, Macabeo, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Golden yellow and bright and clear appearance, stands out for its passage through honest mouth in which citrus notes and tropical hues merge.

Varieties: 40% Chardonnay, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Picapoll, 15% Macabeo

Alcohol: 12.5% by volume.

Grape Varieties:              

Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%), with an average vine age of 46 years.

Village:                                

Saint Marcel d’Ardeche, 45 miles northwest of Avignon. The area is rich with ancient ruins, including vestiges of a Roman outpost.  The vineyard once served as a Roman military outpost.

Soil:                                       

Drift boulders of limestone, for the first 2 meters over granite and alluvial clay.

Vinification:                       

Integrated farming, with hand harvesting, organic herbicides use, no pesticides and the utilization of sustainable agriculture which respects the

environment established by the Forum de l'Agriculture Raisonnée Respecteuse l'Environnement. Three passes in the vineyard, for only,

unbroken healthy grapes. Grenache and Syrah are de-stemmed entirely. Fermentation at 45 °F for a duration of 21 days, without oak.

Tasting Notes:

“Lightly dusty-edged black cherry and black currant fruit is lined with a graphite note. A hint of lavender chimes in on the finish.”

Appellation: Piedmont DOC

Grape variety: 100% Moscato

Vineyard: 22 acres of Moscato vines

Sun: Southwest exposure. Layout allows for optimum sun exposure throughout the entire day.

Harvest: Grapes are picked manually throughout the first and third weeks of September.

Annual production: 20,000 bottles

Color: Straw-yellow

Bouquet: A rich aroma that contains fragrance of the Moscato grapes, mixed with a slight scent of sage and wisteria.

Taste: A lovely, sweet flavor harmoniously balanced with acidity and a moderate percentage of alcohol.  

Serving suggestions: Serve chilled with fruits, desserts, pastries or as an aperitif. Also great to drink any time of day or for special occasions!
