Finger Lakes, New York
DESCRIPTION:
The Dry Riesling has a classic pale straw color with a crisp green hue. The nose shows typical Keuka Lake minerality with fresh lemon citrus and apple with an intriguing blossom aroma. The palate shows wonderful tight acid that balances out the fruity residual sugar enhancing the floral and bringing out the bright tangerine flavors. The palate also displays the slatey mineral characteristics that typify Dr. Frank's Rieslings. Serve with all fin fish and shell fish.
VINIFICATION:
The fruit was harvested by hand during the cool hours of the morning and cold pressed. The juice was then cold settled and fermented at low temperatures with specially selected German wine yeasts. A long slow fermentation enhances the fruit aromatics. The fermentation was arrested just prior to dryness to balance the grape's natural acidity.
PAIRING:
Serve with all fin fish and shell fish. This wine has great ageing potential.

Sangue di Giuda translates to Blood of Judah. This wonderful sparkling red wine is sinfully sweet!
This naturally sparkling wine has an intense crimson-red color and produced from a combination of Croatina (60%), Barbera (20%), Ughetta (10%), Uva rara (10%) (autochthonous grape varieties). It contains a very fruity fragrance that includes crushed berries, dark plums and black cherries. The wine has good acidity, which balances its sweetness. It has a delicate, fresh, and fruity taste that is best enjoyed while the wine is young.
Exceptional with fruit tarts, almond desserts and fine pastries.

Bonus Taste:
With a slight chill in the air, we are going to finish with a German traditional hot red mulled wine to get us in the mood for the cooler weather to come.
Original Christkindlmarkt mulled wine from GERSTACKER...
...when you want it cosy!
The cradle of our mulled wine was at the Nuremberg Christkindl- markt. The famous market is visited every year by millions of people, and they never fail to be captivated by the glittering market stalls as they sample gingerbread, grilled Nuremberg sausages and our delicious hot mulled wine.
Its well-balanced blend of natural spices, which include blueberries, aniseed, cardamom, mace petals, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, orange and lemon peel, pimento and much more has made it the most popular mulled wine in Germany. We only use strong, dark red wine from the Montepulciano grape from Italy. Nuremberg mulled wine is under EU protection as a product of particular quality and excellence, which can only be manufactured in Nuremberg.
