Tasting Selections:
If your only exposure to Frascati has been the tepid, metallic versions off of the grocery shelves, you are in for a nice surprise.
Monte Porzio Frascati is straw in color and its aromas of fresh fruit give a burst of fresh fruit on the palette with a lingering almond finish that is clean and harmonious.
The wine is a blend of two grape varietals, Malvasia and Trebbiano, and is bottled in the traditional Estrucan bottle for over 750 years.
It goes with dishes of pasta and risotto, fresh cheeses or seasoned type precorino cheese. Also with fish white meats and fish.

This Chardonnay is dry, fresh and fruity with aromas of pear, apple, and pineapple.
It is best served chilled with grilled or smoked fish, or poultry.
About Vignoble Gibault:
THE VINEYARD
The vineyard extends over 30 hectares, 22 of which are planted with AOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) vines.
Thanks to the different grape varieties and optimum growing conditions of the plots, we are able to offer a full and varied wine range across 2 Controlled Designation of Origin (AOC) areas, Valençay and Touraine.
Chantal and Patrick Gibault take an environmentally friendly approach to tending their vines in Meusnes. The vineyard has been awarded Terra Vitis environmental certification.
THE WINE REGION
Flinty clays make up the bulk of the soils, infusing our wines with a delightful mineral note. Our region is bathed in a continental climate under oceanic influence, so the vines are able to thrive amidst mild spring temperatures, plentiful summer sunshine and reasonable rainfall all year round.

Bonus Taste:
Origin
Western Cape.
About the area
South Africa's vineyards are mostly situated in the Western Cape near the coast. This is the southernmost region of the African continent, and
has a Mediterranean type climate and diverse soils perfectly suited to quality grape production.
Winemaking
Specially selected grapes were harvested, destemmed and inoculated with yeast. The wine was allowed to ferment until the desired sugar level
was reached and then fortified with natural wine spirits to stop the fermentation. The resulting wine was then matured in French oak barrels.
Maturation
8 - 10 years in a combination of 300 litre and 500 litre French oak barrels.
Varietals
Tinta Barocca + Cinsaut + Souzão.
Wine description
Extended wood maturation resulted in a beautiful amber colour with orange zest, dried fruit, caramel and nuttiness on the nose. This full
flavoured wine explodes with fruit, marzipan and toffee on the palate, with a well-balanced sweetness.
Serving suggestion
Serve chilled before a meal or with cheese and chocolates after a meal.
