Edwin & Fortunate Mambera, husband and wife and proprietors of Recycle & Bead Designs, started their company in 1996 by creating small wire cars and selling them on the side of the street.

They have since expanded their craft to include other intricately beaded pieces which represent a variety of South Africa’s most iconic animals.

With a bit of whimsy and a lot of charm, these handcrafted conversation starters add a novel feel to any room.
