The Layman Family, Winegrowers, have created from grapes which had a long growing season comprised of a wet spring and hot dry summer days but cool nights and then were harvested from the western edge of the Santa Monica Mountains this Syrah deep and almost inky in color, complex yet balanced, and a little spicy with notes of cinnamon and cedar.

Enjoy now, although it may be cellared for years to come.
