A blend of indigenous Trajadura, Loureiro, Arinto and Azal hailing from Vinho Verde’s Amarante sub-region, Gateway’s Vinho Verde casts a pale lemon-gold color from the glass, highlighted by glints of green. Fresh and inviting on the nose, the wine presents crisp lemon-lime fruit complemented by suggestions of green apple, acacia and wintergreen. 

Crisp on the palate, the wine’s sweet apple and green melon fruit is countered by brisk citric acidity and complemented by suggestions of white flowers. The Vinho Verde finishes clean and refreshing, begging you to take another bite of grilled octopus, steamed mussels and clams, white-fleshed fish recipes and light pork and poultry preparations.
